What makes Barclays statements different

Barclays current account statements use separate "Money out" and "Money in" columns with a running balance alongside — a layout where a careless parser reads every figure as positive. NoRekey takes the sign from the column position and verifies every row against the running balance, so debits and credits land correctly every time.

Statements downloaded from Barclays online banking also carry start and end balances per statement period. NoRekey reconciles the extracted rows against those printed totals, so you know the export is complete before it goes anywhere near your books.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Barclays's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
