What makes Lloyds statements different

Lloyds statements carry separate money-out and money-in columns and prefix each line with a transaction-type code — DEB for card payments, DD for direct debits, FPI and FPO for faster payments, SO for standing orders. Naive parsers drop or misread those codes; NoRekey keeps them in the description, takes the sign from the column position, and verifies every row against the running balance.

Longer merchant names wrap across lines, and several transactions on the same day often share one printed balance. NoRekey stitches wrapped descriptions back together, carries the balance across the day's rows, and reconciles the whole statement against its printed opening and closing totals before you download anything.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Lloyds Bank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
