What makes PNB statements different
As one of India's big public-sector banks, PNB statements reach customers two ways: e-statements from PNB ONE and internet banking, and printed statements or passbook pages from the branch. NoRekey takes both — text PDFs directly, and branch printouts or passbook photos through OCR, each reconciled against the printed balances either way.
The format follows Indian convention: Dr/Cr-marked amounts, DD-MM-YYYY dates and lakh-grouped figures, all normalised to signed decimals and ISO dates on export. Emailed e-statements are password-protected; enter the password at upload and conversion happens in one step.
Password-protected statement?
PNB protects emailed e-statements with a password — the covering email states the exact format, commonly built from your account number or date of birth. Enter it at upload; it is used only to open the file and never stored.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Punjab National Bank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
