What makes Santander statements different

Santander operates across the UK and Europe, and its statements reflect that: UK accounts use money in/out columns with UK number formatting, while European statements often write amounts as 1.234,56 — a format that breaks converters which assume commas are thousands separators. NoRekey reads the statement's own convention and normalises every amount correctly.

Whichever region the statement comes from, the extracted rows are verified against the printed opening and closing balances, so a misread decimal can't slip through quietly — it would break the reconciliation and be flagged for review.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Santander's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
