What makes Square statements different

Square's statements are a seller's ledger: card takings arrive as gross sales with processing fees deducted, refunds reverse out, and payouts sweep the balance to the linked bank. NoRekey extracts the movements that change the balance, keeps the gross/fee detail in each description, and reconciles the ledger against its printed opening and closing figures.

The payout rows are what bank reconciliation keys on — each one matches a deposit in the business bank account. Keeping payouts as distinct signed rows means both sides of the books tie together instead of fighting.
