What makes Monzo statements different

Monzo generates PDF statements from the app for any period you choose, so one file can span a month or two years of card payments, transfers and pot movements. NoRekey handles long app-generated statements, keeps references and notes in the description, and reconciles the export against the statement's opening and closing balances.

The common reason to convert a Monzo PDF is that the PDF is what you have: a client sent it, the account is closed, or the books need the bank's own document behind them. When it's paper or a screenshot, OCR handles it — and the balance check applies either way.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Monzo's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
