What makes PayPal statements different

A PayPal statement is a payments ledger, not a bank statement: sales arrive as gross amount, fee and net, refunds and disputes appear as reversals, and the balance moves by the net figure. NoRekey extracts the movement that actually changes the balance and keeps the fee detail in the description, so the ledger reconciles against the statement's own opening and closing balances — the same verification every bank statement gets.

Accounts that hold several currencies report each balance separately. The export carries the currency detected from the statement, and anything that doesn't tie out — a missed reversal, a misread fee — is flagged for review rather than silently exported.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against PayPal's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
