What makes Axis Bank statements different

Axis Bank statement rows carry long narrations — UPI handles, NEFT reference numbers, merchant strings — that wrap across lines and defeat naive parsers. NoRekey stitches each narration back into one row and keeps it whole, because those references are exactly what reconciliation and invoice-matching key on.

The rest follows Indian e-statement convention: emailed PDFs are password-protected (the covering email gives the format), amounts are marked Dr/Cr with Indian digit grouping, and dates run DD-MM-YYYY. All of it is normalised — and the conversion must reconcile against the statement's printed opening and closing balances before export.

Password-protected statement?
Axis Bank locks emailed e-statements with a password — the covering email states the exact format, commonly a combination of your name and date of birth. Enter it in the password field at upload; it is used only to open the file and never stored.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Axis Bank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
