1. Who we are
NoRekey converts bank statement PDFs into structured exports (CSV, Excel, OFX and QFX) for bookkeepers, accountants and small businesses. These terms are a contract between you and NoRekey ("we", "us") and apply whenever you use the service at norekey.com. By creating an account, or using the free conversion without one, you agree to them.
2. Your account and team
You must give accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. Work in NoRekey belongs to teams: the team owner controls the plan, billing, members and deletion; admins manage settings and invitations; members convert statements. You are responsible for who you invite and for activity under your account.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed per team, monthly or annually, through our payment provider Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated — you only pay the difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep your plan's full allowance until then; there are no partial refunds, without affecting your statutory rights.
- Each plan includes a monthly page allowance and a number of team seats, described on the pricing page. Allowances reset with your billing cycle.
4. Fair use
You agree not to:
- upload statements you are not authorised to process — client documents require your client's authority;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or processing fraudulent documents;
- probe, overload, scrape or otherwise interfere with the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, refunding any unused whole billing periods unless the breach is serious.
5. Your documents and data
Your statements and the data extracted from them remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never use your documents to train AI models, and we never sell your data. Uploaded PDFs are deleted as soon as processing finishes; extracted data is deleted on the schedule your team chooses (between 30 minutes and 30 days).
6. Accuracy
Extraction is automated. Every conversion is balance-checked — we verify that the transactions reconcile against the statement's opening and closing balances, and flag any that don't — but you are responsible for reviewing exports before relying on them in accounts, tax filings or anything else that matters. NoRekey is a conversion tool, not accounting, tax or financial advice.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep NoRekey fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features over time; if we make a change that materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel at the end of your billing period.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is capped at the fees your team paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data beyond what we commit to in these terms and the Privacy Policy.
9. Ending your use
You can cancel your plan at any time from Billing & plan, and delete your team or account once any live plan is cancelled. We can end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breach.
10. General
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions? Email support@norekey.com.
