What makes Scotiabank statements different
Scotiabank statements follow the Canadian two-column convention — withdrawals and deposits — and, as with several Canadian layouts, not every transaction row carries its own balance figure; the balance often prints only where the day closes. NoRekey handles balance-less rows natively: signs come from the columns, and the day-close balances anchor the verification.
However sparse the balance column, the statement still declares its opening and closing figures, and every conversion must reconcile against them to the penny before export — a missing or misread row surfaces as a flagged mismatch, never as silently wrong books.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Scotiabank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
