What makes Deutsche Bank statements different

A Deutsche Bank Kontoauszug is numbered sequentially through the year rather than bound to calendar months, marks direction with Soll and Haben rather than signed amounts, and prints both a booking date (Buchungstag) and a value date (Wert) per transaction. NoRekey sets the sign from the Soll/Haben convention and uses the booking date, so exports match the ledger your accountant expects.

German number formatting — 1.234,56 with comma decimals — is normalised to plain signed decimals, dates become ISO, and the whole statement is reconciled against its printed alter Saldo and neuer Saldo. If it doesn't tie out to the cent, it's flagged, not exported.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Deutsche Bank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
