What makes Canara Bank statements different

Canara Bank absorbed Syndicate Bank in the 2020 public-sector mergers, and catch-up bookkeeping still surfaces Syndicate-era statements alongside current Canara layouts. NoRekey reads each statement's own design, so both convert identically — reconciled against their printed balances either way.

The format follows Indian convention: Dr/Cr-marked amounts, lakh grouping and DD-MM-YYYY dates, all normalised on export, with emailed e-statements decrypting at upload via the password from the covering email.

Password-protected statement?
Canara Bank locks emailed e-statements with a password — the covering email states the exact format. Enter it at upload; it is used only to open the file and never stored.

Balanced against the statement
Every conversion is cross-checked against Canara Bank's opening and closing balances, so a mismatch surfaces before it reaches your books.
Originals deleted immediately
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used for training, and the uploaded PDF is deleted the moment processing finishes.
