Import NatWest statements into Xero

NatWest statements — personal or business — convert into a verified signed ledger that Xero imports directly. No retyping, no copy-paste column surgery.

Convert the statement first

  1. Upload the NatWest PDF to the converter.
  2. Each row's sign comes from its column and is verified against the running balance; the whole statement must reconcile against its printed totals before export.
  3. Download the OFX export for Xero.

Import into Xero

  1. Open the bank account: Manage account → Import a statement.
  2. Select the OFX and import — no mapping screen, straight to reconciliation.

NatWest-specific notes

  • Wrapped descriptions: NatWest wraps longer payment references across lines; they're stitched back into single rows so Xero's bank rules keep matching.
  • RBS statements are a sibling brand with a similar-but-distinct layout — they have their own converter page and export identically.

Reconciling

Import lands with the statement's exact closing balance — verified during conversion. Anything off afterwards points at feed overlap or a manually entered transaction, not the file.
