Hubdoc alternative

The simple Hubdoc alternative

If you already pay for Xero and connect Hubdoc, it costs nothing extra — and it files your original documents and publishes bills and receipts straight into Xero with the source attached, or into QuickBooks Online.

NoRekey earns its keep when the conversion itself has to be right: every statement reconciled against its own opening and closing balances, exported as CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX or JSON. Ten pages a month free, then $24 for 2,500 — about $0.01 a page.

NoRekey vs Hubdoc, feature by feature

An honest side-by-side. Hubdoc is a different product with its own strengths, so it wins some rows — we've left those in.

The difference that matters

Hubdoc charges by the month, not the page — so on cost alone it is hard to beat.

The two prices are not like for like. Here is what each one actually buys.

Hubdoc
£10 / $12
per month for unlimited usage on the standalone plan — £10 on hubdoc.com's UK pricing page, $12 on its US one, and possibly stale now Xero sells Hubdoc mainly inside its own plans — or nothing extra with Hubdoc connected to a Xero Simple, Ignite, Grow, Comprehensive or Ultimate plan
NoRekey
$24
per month for 2,500 pages on Practice — about $0.01 per text-based page
~$0.03 per scanned page — OCR, balance-checked

Scanned or photographed statements convert too — OCR takes more work, so scanned pages use 3 pages of allowance each. How scan conversion works.

When Hubdoc is the better choice

We'd rather you pick the right tool than the wrong subscription. Choose Hubdoc if:

You already pay for Xero and have Hubdoc connected to it — Hubdoc is included in the Simple, Ignite, Grow, Comprehensive and Ultimate plans, so converting a statement costs you nothing extra.
You want bills and receipts filed and published straight into Xero with the original document attached — or into QuickBooks Online — rather than statements converted to a file you import yourself.
Your engagement requires a supplier covered by a SOC 2 Type II report and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification. NoRekey has neither.
